6:10 p.m. The Senate confirmed the nomination of Keith Sonderling to be Deputy Secretary of Labor by a vote of 53-46, party line.
-Senator Duckworth did not vote.

5:19 p.m. The Senate is now voting on confirmation of Keith Sonderling to be Deputy Secretary of Labor.

4:31 p.m. Senator Murray spoke on government funding.

4:33 p.m. Senator Blackburn spoke about antisemitism on college campuses.

4:15 p.m. Senator Welch spoke about tariffs.

The Senate will convene at 11:00 .a.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of the nomination of Stephen Miran to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers.

At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on cloture on the Miran nomination.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to two votes:
1. Confirmation of the Miran nomination.
2. Cloture on the nomination of Keith Sonderling to be Deputy Secretary of Labor.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Sonderling nomination.

Additional votes are possible during today’s session.

Cloture has been filed on S.331, a bill to amend the Controlled Substances Act with respect to the scheduling of fentanyl-related substances.
