  • Cloture was filed on S.5, the Laken Riley Act.
  • S. 6, a bill to amend the Title 18, United States Code, to prohibit a health care practitioner from failing to exercise the proper degree of care in the case of a child who survives an abortion or attempted abortion, received its first reading.
  • Passed by unanimous consent, S.Res.27, Congratulating the North Dakota State University Bison Football.

7:06 p.m. The Senate did not agree to the Coons Amendment 23 in a vote 46 to 49.

6:40 p.m. The Senate agreed to the Cornyn Amendment 14 in a vote 73 to 26.

5:57 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the Cornyn Amendment 14 in relation to the S.5, Laken Riley Act.

5:54 p.m. Senator Coons spoke in favor of his amendment to S.5, the Laken Riley Act, Amendment 23.
