7:00 p.m. The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. At 12:00, the Senate will move into executive session and take up the nomination of Jonathan E. Hawley, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois. At 12:30 p.m. there will be a roll call vote on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Hawley nomination. Post vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15p.m. for the weekly party caucus lunches.

6:40 p.m. The Perry nomination was confirmed by a roll call vote of 51-44.

5:30 p.m. The Senate is voting on confirmation of April Perry to be a District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

5:14 p.m. Senator Tuberville spoke about Veterans Day and Veterans from Alabama.

5:09 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer filed cloture on the nomination of Embry J. Kidd, of Florida, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit.

3:40 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke on judicial nominations and immigration.

3:35 p.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke about the 2024 elections.

3:20 a.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke about the 2024 elections.

3:00 p.m. The Senate convened.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of April Perry to be a District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Perry nomination.
