6:47 p.m. By a vote of 88-2, the Senate agreed to the motion to concur in the House Amendments to S870, Fire Grants and Safety Act

  • Senators Braun, Cramer, Durbin, Fetterman, Hoeven, Marshall, Menendez, Sinema, Sullivan, and Tuberville did not vote
  • Senators Markey and Sanders voted no

12:51 p.m. By a vote of 52-42, the Senate confirmed Katherine E. Oler to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years.

  • Senators Collins, Graham, Murkowski, Tillis and Romney voted in favor.
  • Senators Cramer, Durbin, Fetterman, Hoeven, Menendez, and Sinema did not vote.

11:42 a.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination of Katherine E. Oler to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years.

The Senate will convene at 10:00am. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of the nomination of Katherine E. Oler to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for the term of fifteen years, post-cloture.

At approximately 11:30am – two votes:

  1. Confirmation of the Oler nomination.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Mustafa Taher Kasubhai to be United States District Judge for the District of Oregon.

Following the cloture vote, the Senate is expected to recess until 2:15pm for the weekly caucus meetings.

At approximately 2:15pm – one vote:

  1.  Confirmation of the Kasubhai nomination (if cloture is invoked).

During Tuesday’s session, the Senate is expected to execute the agreement with respect to S.870, Fire Grants, with a roll call vote on the motion to concur in the House amendments to the bill.
