3:51 p.m. Senator Kennedy spoke about George Soros and the FCC.

2:40 p.m. Senator Rosen spoke on the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and paid tribute to the hostages.

2:33 p.m. Senator Wyden spoke against the Ratcliffe nomination to the director of the CIA.

12:33 p.m. The Senate stands in recess until 2:15 p.m.

12:08 p.m. Senator Cornyn congratulated President Trump and VP Vance. He then spoke on border security and the new head of USBP, Mike Banks.

11:47 a.m. Senator Durbin spoke on immigration policies and pardons of January 6th defendants.

11:32 a.m. Democratic Leader Schumer spoke on the release of Ryan Corbett from the Taliban. He then spoke about President Trump’s agenda and cabinet nominations.

11:19 a.m. Majority Leader Thune spoke about President Trumps cabinet nominations and the welcomed new senators Ashley Moody and Jon Husted.

The Senate will convene at 11:00 a.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #4, S.6, Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

Cloture has been filed on the motion to proceed to Cal. #4, S.6. Under the rule, unless an agreement is reached, the Senate will vote on this cloture motion one hour after the Senate convenes on Wednesday.
