On Tuesday, February 2^nd, following the conclusion of morning business, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of the nomination of Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg, of Indiana, to be Secretary of Transportation. The time until 12:00 noon will be equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees. At 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Buttigieg nomination.

2:22 p.m. The Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Alejandro Mayorkas to be Secretary of Homeland Security by a tally of 55-42.
