The Senate will convene at 11:00 a.m., at which point Majority Leader McConnell is expected to move to proceed to S. 1, Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act.
At 12:30 p.m., a live quorum call and subsequent vote on the motion to instruct the Sergeant at Arms to request the presence of absent senators is expected.
We expect the Senate to recess until 2:15 p.m. to accommodate caucus luncheons following the quorum call and motion to instruct.
At 2:30 p.m. their will be two cloture votes:
