The Senate returns for business on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

At that time, following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on cloture on the nomination of David Perdue to be Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.

Cloture has also been filed on the following nominations:
Warren Stephens to be Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Thomas Barrack to be Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey.
Tilman Fertitta to be Ambassador to the Italian Republic, and to serve concurrently to the Republic of San Marino.
