6:35 p.m. By a vote of 83-12, the Senate invoked cloture on the motion to concur with respect to the House message accompanying H.R. 5009, National Defense Authorization Act. Senators voting no: Baldwin, Booker, Lee, Merkley, Paul, Sanders, Schatz, Schiff, Stabenow, Warren and Wyden.
