5:30 p.m. Roll call vote began on S. 176, a resolution on the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.

3:31 p.m. Majority Leader McConnell spoke about the attacks in London. He spoke about the Jerusalem resolution. He paid tribute to the late Senator Jim Bunning.
3:15 p.m. Minority Leader Schumer spoke about the terrorist attack in London; the administration’s prospective public works bill; the upcoming Senate testimony of former FBI Director Comey; and the administration’s decision to withdraw from the Paris accord.

The Senate will convene at 3 p.m. and will consider a resolution on the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem (S.Res. 176).
At 5:30 p.m., there will be a roll call vote on adoption of S.Res. 176.
On Tuesday, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Courtney Elwood to be general counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency. A confirmation vote is expected on Elwood at 2:15 Tuesday.
After disposition of the Elwood nomination, the Senate is expected to begin three hours of debate S. 1094, a Veterans Administration measure, and to agree to the committee-sponsored substitute amendment. A vote on passages of the VA bill, as amended, is expected at about 6:15 Tuesday.
