6: 50 p.m. The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #380 Patricia L. Lee, of South Carolina, to be a Member of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board.

At approximately 12:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Lee nomination.  The Senate will then recess until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.

If cloture is invoked on the Lee nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation at approximately 2:15pm, followed by a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #536 Robin Michelle Meriweather, of Virginia, to be a Judge of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

If cloture is invoked on the Meriweather nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired at 5:45pm and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination, followed by the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #512 Charles J. Willoughby, Jr., of the District of Columbia, to be an Associate Judge of the D.C. Superior Court.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of the nomination of Nancy Maldonado to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Maldonado nomination.

Robin Meriweather to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims for a term of fifteen years.
