3:01 p.m. Senator Grassley spoke on the Senate Blood Drive and the nominations of Pam Bondi to be Attorney General and Christopher Wright to be Secretary of the Department of Energy.

3:00 p.m. The Senate convened.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and following any Leader remarks will be in a period of morning business for debate only.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. the Senate is expected to proceed to up to three votes:

1. Motion to proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of the nomination of Russell Vought to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Majority Leader Thune intends to file cloture on the nomination.
2. Confirmation of the nomination of Christopher Wright to be Secretary of Energy.
3. Cloture on the nomination of Pamela Bondi to be Attorney General.
