The Senate convened at 9:30 a.m. for a pro forma session only. Senator Shaheen presided and no business was conducted.

The Senate will next convene for business on Tuesday, May 9th at 3:00 p.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Felice Gorordo to be United State Alternate Executive Director of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. the Senate will proceed to one roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Gorordo nomination.
