The Senate met for a pro forma session at 12:00 noon. Senator Cardin presided. No business was conducted.

The Senate returns for business on Monday, July 8 at 3:00 p.m. At that time, following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Nancy Maldonado to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Maldonado nomination.
