3:41 p.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke on Kentucky rebuilding after the recent flooding, inflation, and crime across the nation.

3:28 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke on what was accomplished before the Senate recess and what the Senate has on it’s agenda.

3:00 p.m. The Senate convened.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and following any leader remarks, will resume consideration of the nomination of John Lee to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on cloture on the Lee nomination.
