The Senate has adjourned at 9:35 p.m. and will reconvene tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Following Leader Remarks the Senate will resume consideration of Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

At 10 am the Senate will hold 3 roll call votes:

  • 1. Passage of H.R.7108, Russia PNTR, as amended.
  • 2. Passage of H.R.6968, Russian Oil Ban, as amended
  • 3. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #860 Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

After cloture is invoked on Executive Calendar #860 Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States a final vote on confirmation could be held as early at 1:45 p.m. (depending on how many Senators are planning to speak).

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and following any leader remarks, will resume consideration of the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to be Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.  Cloture was filed on the nomination at 12:00 noon on Tuesday. 

At 11:45 a.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination of James O’Brien to be Head of the Office of Sanctions Coordination, with the rank of Ambassador.

Further votes are possible.

The Senate will vote on confirmation of the following nominations at a time to be determined:

  2. Cathy Harris to be a Member of the Merit Systems Protection Board
