The Senate will convene at 11:00 a.m., following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.3684, a bill to authorize funds for Federal-aid highways, highway safety programs, and transit programs, and for other purposes. (Legislative vehicle for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act)
The filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to the Sinema-Portman amendment in the nature of a substitute (2137) and to the underlying bill, H.R.3684, will be at 11:15 a.m. and 2nd degree amendments is 11:45 a.m. today.
At 12:00 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Sinema-Portman substitute amendment #2137
As a reminder, cloture was invoked on the nomination of Eunice Lee to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit. The vote on confirmation of the Lee nomination will occur at a time to be determined today.
