6:15pm The cloture vote was agreed to by a roll call vote of 51-42. The Senate is now in post cloture debate on the nomination.

5:30 pm The Senate is currently voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Thomas Kirsch to be US Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit 

5:00 pm Senator Blackburn spoke on the Kirsch nomination.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on cloture on the Kirsch nomination.
