Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm for the weekly caucus meetings.
There will be an effort to process H.R.6201, Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Roll call votes are possible during Tuesday’s session.
6:22 p.m. Senators Murphy, Durbin, Coons, Brown and Markey spoke on coronavirus health and economic crisis.
5:37 p.m. By voice vote, the Senate passed S.3501, the short-term reauthorization of the foreign intelligence surveillance act.
4:35 p.m. Senator Cotton spoke about the virus.
3:09 p.m. Majority Leader McConnell spoke about the corunavirus. He called for specific legislative responses on the part of the Senate. He spoke about the reauthorization of surveillance programs.
3:03 p.m. Senator Grassley spoke about the coronavirus.
The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R. 1672, the FISA reauthorization.
There will be a cloture vote on the motion to proceed at 5:30 p.m.
