The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of H.J.Res.20, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Department of Energy relating to “Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Consumer Gas-fired Instantaneous Water Heaters”.

At approximately 11:00 a.m. the Senate will proceed to two votes:

1. Passage of H.J.Res.20.
2. Cloture on the nomination of Mark Meador to be a Federal Trade Commissioner.

If cloture is invoked, after up to two hours of debate the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Meador nomination.
