UC that the Senate adjourn until 10:00 a.m. Thursday following the remarks of Senator Whitehouse. On Thursday at 10:00 a.m., the Senate will resume consideration of SJ Res 12.
At 12:00 noon on Thursday, the Senate will vote on passage of HJ Res 35.
At 1:45 p.m. the Senate will vote on cloture on the nomination of Linda McMahon to be Secretary of Education.

6:42 p.m. The Senate agreed to the motion to proceed to SJ Res 12 on a party line vote of 52-47 with Senator Cramer absent.

12:00 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the confirmation of Jamieson Greer to be United States Trade Representative.

11:54 a.m. Senator Crapo spoke in favor of the Greer nomination.

11:45 a.m. Senator Wyden spoke against the nomination of Jamieson Greer to be US Trade Representative.

11:08 a.m. Senator Cornyn spoke on the Trump administration. He then spoke on immigration.

11:00 a.m. Senator Reed spoke on American energy and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA).

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m.  At that time, resume consideration SJ Res 10, regarding termination of the national emergency declared with respect to energy.

At 12:00 noon the Senate will proceed to a vote on confirmation of Jamieson Greer to be US Trade Representative.  Following the Greer vote the Senate will resume consideration of S J Res 10.

We expect two further votes Wednesday evening on adoption of SJ Res 10 and the motion to proceed to SJ Res 12, regarding waste emissions charge for petroleum and natural gas systems.
