6:08 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Laura Margarete Provinzino to be United States District Judge for the District of Minnesota.

6:07 p.m. By a vote of 55-42 the Senate confirmed Mary Kay Lanthier to be United States District Judge for the District of Vermont. Republican senators voting in favor: Collins, Graham, Murkowski, and Tillis. Senators not voting: Kenndy, Rounds, and Vance.

4:58 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on confirmation of Mary Kay Lanthier to be United States District Judge for the District of Vermont.

4:55 p.m. Senator Klobuchar spoke in support of the nomination of Laura Margarete Provinzino to be United States District Judge for the District of Minnesota.

11:14 a.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke about the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th attacks. He then spoke about Iran, the October 7th attacks in Israel and inflation.
