7:16 p.m. By a vote of 58-41, the Senate agreed to the motion to reconsider H.R.815, legislative vehicle for supplemental appropriations.
3:03 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to reconsider the failed cloture vote on the motion to proceed to the consideration of H.R. 815.
3:02 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer made a motion to reconsider.
3:01 p.m. By a vote of 49-50, the Senate did not invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 815.
Senators Collins, Lankford, Murkowski and Romney voted in favor.
Senators Markey, Menendez, Padilla, Sanders and Warren voted no.
Majority Leader Schumer switched his vote from yes to no in order to make a motion to reconsider.

1:43 p.m. Senator Sinema spoke on the national security supplemental.
1:34 p.m. Senator Murray spoke on the national security supplemental.
1:06 p.m. Senator Lankford spoke on the southern border and the national security supplemental.
12:48 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke on the national security supplemental.
12:40 p.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke on the national security supplemental.
12:24 p.m. Senator Cornyn spoke on the national security supplemental and the southern border.
12:22 p.m. Senator Wicker asked Leader Schumer a question and then spoke on the national security supplemental.
12:12 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke on the national security supplemental.

The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00pm today Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #30, H.R. 815, legislative vehicle for National Security Supplemental.
At approximately 1:00pm the cloture petition will ripen and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed.
