The Senate convened for a pro forma session at 9:00 a.m. Senator Reed presided and no business was conducted.

Following the pro forma session, the Senate will adjourn until Tuesday, January 30 at 3:00 p.m. with a vote that evening at 5:30 p.m. on confirmation of the nomination of Joshua Kolar to be US Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.
