The Senate convened at 10:00 a.m. for a pro forma session only. Senator Kaine presided and no business was conducted.

The Senate will next convene for a pro forma session on Friday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m.

When the Senate adjourns on Friday, it will next convene for business at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27th. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of the nomination of Jeffrey M. Bryan to be United States District Judge for the District of Minnesota. At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Bryan nomination.
