The Senate convened for a pro forma session at 6:30 a.m. Senator Merkley presided and no business was conducted.

The Senate is now adjourned until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21. At that time resume consideration of S. 2226, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will proceed to two votes on the following amendments to S. 2226, the NDAA, both with 60 vote thresholds.
1.Adoption of the Cornyn Amendment #931 (Outbound Investment)
2.Adoption of Rounds Amendment #813 (Stop Foreign Adversary Land Purchases)
